For many years, the Faculty of Chemistry at the Gdańsk University of Technology has been proud of its high position on the scientific and technological map of the world.
The Faculty constantly strives to maintain a high quality of research, promote international, scientific exchange, and strengthen contacts with industrial partners in the field of research and development.
The Gdańsk University of Technology received the status of a research university - it took first place in Poland amongst technical universities and second place in the Ministry of Science and Higher Education competition as part of the ‘Initiative of Excellence - Research University’ program.
Our Faculty has been ranked with the highest, A+ category [PL] during the last assessment.
It is fully certified to award scientific degrees and titles in the field of Exact and Natural Sciences - Chemical Sciences.
We do not forget about applied research undertaken in cooperation with industrial partners. We also take care of the continuous development of our scientific staff, undertake joint endeavours with other universities within Poland and abroad, and employ new talents, too. We are looking for people determined to build knowledge, competence and innovation. Our staff frequently go on internships to the best research centres in the world, perfecting their scientific skills as well as promoting our Faculty.
