Consortium leader. Gdańsk University of Technology is responsible for the development of SiOxCy-based anode materials and Si/Sn@SiOxCy nanocomposites, the development of prelithiation methods, and their physicochemical and electrochemical characterization. The university is also responsible for the preparation and testing of prototype cells.

Role in the project
Empa is responsible for the development and processing of Si/Sn@SiOxCy nanocomposites, their advanced materials characterization, and participation in technology scale-up. The partner contributes expertise in high-performance ceramics, polymer-derived ceramics (PDC), and energy storage technologies.

Role in the project
Industrial partner. Siloxene is primarily responsible for the development and provision of the QTPS technology used to produce the SiOxCy matrix, the development of material formulations and prelithiation processes, followed by process scale-up, technology transfer, and assessment of the commercialization potential of the developed anode materials.
