Grzegorz Cholewiński, Ph.D., D.Sc. Eng.
The research are focused on the preparation of new immunosuppressive substances with potential application in the prevention of organ transplant rejection and the treatment of autoimmune diseases.1 Mycophenolic acid derivatives are a promising group of compounds as inhibitors of inosine-5'-monophosphate dehydrogenase.2 The biological activities of the obtained compounds are investigated in cooperation with the Department of Clinical Immunology and Transplantology, Medical University of Gdansk.
