Research concerns the development of new advanced synthetic method based on the organosulfur reagents. The special focus is placed on the electrophilic activation of thiol functionality. These electrophilic reagents were applied for synthesis of variety of unsymmetrical disulfides and sulfides. The most recent research has provided a first new stereoselective preparation method for alkenyl disulfides. These compounds were applied successfully for regioselective inverse-electron-demand hetero-Diels-Alder reaction.
