Speaker: Prof. Adam Proń, DSc, Eng., Department of Chemistry and Technology of Polymers, Faculty of Chemistry, Warsaw University of Technology

The lecture will include a detailed discussion of the following topics:

• The principles of authorship attribution in the natural and physical sciences
• A comparative analysis of the characteristics of major academic publishing houses
• An analysis of publishing practices in the chemistry departments of Polish universities, with particular emphasis on Gdańsk University of Technology
• A critique of the science policy of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education
