The Faculty of Chemistry at Gdańsk University of Technology cordially invites you to a seminar that will take place on June 12, 2025, at the Faculty of Chemistry, Gdańsk University of Technology, at 12:15 in Auditorium 1.4, Chemistry C Building.
Title
Development of Research Infrastructure for Hydrogen Technologies – Competences and R&D Directions at the Hydrogen Technology Research Center Ł-IEL
Speakers
dr inż. Artur Malinowski – Kierownik Laboratorium Technologii Wodorowych
dr Mateusz Łuba – Kierownik Grupy Badawczej Technologii Pozyskiwania i Przetwarzania Wodoru
Abstract
The presentation outlines the research and development competences of Łukasiewicz – Electrotechnical Institute in the field of hydrogen technologies, with particular emphasis on the activities of the Hydrogen Technology Research Center and the newly established Hydrogen Technologies Laboratory. It discusses research capabilities, including advanced material modification and coating techniques, catalyst characterization, and the design of electrochemical processes using specialized research stations. Selected European projects (Rail4EARTH, 4D Hydrogen) focused on sustainable transport and green ammonia production will be presented, along with directions for infrastructure development supporting research on hydrogen production, storage, and application. The presentation will conclude with a proposal for collaboration and an announcement of an upcoming conference dedicated to hydrogen technologies.
