The Department conducts comprehensive research (model, theoretical, experimental) in the field of:

• resources, possibilities of obtaining, conversion, storage and transport of energy from renewable sources, including solar energy and biofuels,

• possibilities of using waste energy in industrial processes and ways of its management,

• analysis of technological processes of the resulting material of used materials and photovoltaic cells,

• development of technological processes from used materials of used car tires.

These issues are directly related to the scientific discipline: chemical science at the Faculty of Chemistry, GUT.

These problems are related to the impact of “broadly understood” energy on the environment in terms of research, development and promotion of environmentally friendly technologies and energy carriers.
