Baltic Science Festival 2026

On May 21-22, 2026, faculty from the Department of Biotechnology and Microbiology at Gdańsk University of Technology will lead three workshops as part of the 27th Baltic Science Festival (BFN). The events are open to all science enthusiasts. Participation is free, but space is limited – registration is required.

Summer internships are available for students at cosmetics companies in the Pomeranian Voivodeship (Marion, Oceanic, Alkmie). Interested parties are asked to contact Patrycja Szumała, PhD with habilitation.

Open Day at the Gdańsk University of Technology

The Department of Biotechnology and Microbiology invites you to Gdańsk University of Technology's Open Day, which will take place on March 20, 2026, the day before the first day of spring. Our department's program includes a presentation of our cosmetics laboratory and a workshop titled "The Microworld Around Us – Discovering the World Invisible to the Naked Eye!"

Industry Days of the Faculty of Chemistry, Gdańsk University of Technology

Employees of the Department of Biotechnology and Microbiology actively participated in the first edition of the Industry Days of the Faculty of Chemistry of the Gdańsk University of Technology, which took place on February 18, 2026 on the premises of the Gdańsk University of Technology, presenting the scientific and research potential of the Department in three zones of the event.
