Seminar NitroSENS | Faculty of Chemistry at the Gdańsk University of Technology

On 29.06.2023 a seminar of the NITROsens project was held. Our guest was Piotr Prasuła, M.Sc., Head of the Explosives Laboratory from the Military Institute of Armament Technology in Zielonka, who presented a lecture entitled ‘Modern explosives with reduced sensitivity to external stimuli’. Subsequent presentations dealt with research results obtained within the NITROsens project. Iwona Kaczmarzyk, M.Sc., gave a presentation entitled. “Effective electrochemical detection of 2,4-DNT in seawater”, while Małgorzata Szopińska, M.Sc., gave a presentation pr. “Closed-loop water management for industry and the military – advanced methods for the oxidation of 2,4,6-trinitrotoluene on the example of anodic electro-oxidation using boron doped diamond electrodes.
