The kick-off seminar of the PreciousHMFstudy project took place on April 23, 2026, at Gdańsk University of Technology. | Faculty of Chemistry at the Gdańsk University of Technology

The event brought together project partners as well as representatives of the scientific and clinical communities. It provided an opportunity to present the main objectives of the project, the scope of work of individual partners, and the planned research and development activities.

The project focuses on developing innovative solutions to support the nutrition of preterm infants, with particular emphasis on the use of human milk and its individualized fortification.

Following the seminar, participants visited the Neonatology Department of the University Clinical Center in Gdańsk, where they had the opportunity to gain insight into the practical aspects of preterm infant care and the operation of a human milk bank.

The seminar marked the first step in the implementation of the project and an important milestone in building collaboration among the partners.
