Gdańsk University of Technology (GUT) is one of the leading technical universities in Poland, recognized for its strong research profile and international collaborations in engineering, biotechnology and life sciences. Within the PreciousHMFstudy project, GUT acts as the project coordinator and is responsible for scientific validation of the developed technologies. The university will conduct laboratory studies aimed at optimizing the Babylat Enricher device and establishing procedures to ensure the microbiological safety, nutritional quality and biological value of human milk–derived fortifiers (HMDF). GUT will also contribute to the development and testing of analytical solutions for human milk composition assessment in collaboration with project partners.

Medical University of Gdańsk
Medical University of Gdańsk (MUG) is a leading Polish medical university specializing in clinical research, medical education and healthcare innovation. Within the PreciousHMFstudy project, MUG is responsible for conducting the clinical pilot study evaluating the safety and tolerability of individualized human milk fortification in preterm infants. The university provides clinical expertise in neonatology and ensures that the developed solutions are tested under real hospital conditions. The clinical study will generate essential data supporting the implementation of personalized human milk fortification in neonatal intensive care units.

Babylat AG
Babylat AG is a Swiss biotechnology company focused on the development of innovative technologies for neonatal nutrition. Within the PreciousHMFstudy project, the company is responsible for further engineering development and market readiness of the Babylat Enricher device. This includes optimization of the device design, preparation of technical documentation and development of manufacturing workflows required for commercialization. Babylat AG contributes technological expertise aimed at enabling safe preparation of human milk–derived fortifiers directly within hospital settings.

PREMS LLC
PREMS LLC is a Polish technology company specializing in the development of medical and analytical devices. In the PreciousHMFstudy project, PREMS is responsible for further development of the Babylat Human Milk Analyzer (HMA). The work includes optimization of sensor systems and development of advanced analytical algorithms enabling precise determination of macronutrient composition of human milk. These improvements will support accurate bedside milk analysis and facilitate individualized fortification strategies for preterm infants.
