Due to the research topics diversity, the Department of Pharmaceutical Technology and Biochemistry is equipped with laboratories adapted to a variety of analysis. These are, among others, specially adapted laboratories for conducting tests under sterile conditions (for the cultivation of bacteria, fungi or cell lines), as well as a laboratory for chemical synthesis, chromatographic analyses, isolation and structural studies of biologically active compounds of natural origin, isolation and structural studies of proteins, microscopic studies and molecular modelling.
