On 18.10.2019, Dr. Jerzy Walaszkowski died at the age of 81

He spent almost his entire professional life in the Department of Anti-Corrosion Technology of the Chemical Faculty of the Gdańsk University of Technology, where he was a highly appreciated and well-liked academic teacher.

The doctoral thesis entitled "Corrosion of aluminium caused by the flow of currents imposed in mono and bipolar conditions" was defended by the 27th IX The promoter assigned to the thesis was at the time doc. Dr hab. inż. Romuald Juchniewicz 1975.

He was buried in the Witomiński Cemetery in Gdynia.
