Research internship | Faculty of Chemistry at the Gdańsk University of Technology

We are pleased to announce that on September 12 - October 7, 2022 an employee of our department, Dr. Eng. Agnieszka Potęga completed another one this year internship. The research training was carried out at the Institute of Inorganic and Analytical Chemistry, University of Münster in the team of prof. dr. Uwe Karst.

Research topic: Improvement of the knowledge about various aspects of electrochemistry coupled with mass spectrometry, including the electrochemical simulation of phase I and II metabolism of selected anticancer compounds. Spectrometric characteristics of produced electrochemical products, as well as the study of possible reactive forms with thiol-bearing proteins was also performed.
