International Workshop on Computational Physics | Faculty of Chemistry at the Gdańsk University of Technology

Professor Subrahmanyam Sappati from our department visited the Abdus Salam International Centre for Theoretical Physics (ICTP) in Trieste, Italy. During this visit, He had the opportunity to present and discuss his ideas with the ICTP's scientific committee  in the context of the 22nd International Workshop on Computational Physics and Materials Science: Total Energy and Force Methods. The "Total Energy" workshop is a prestigious event that showcases the latest advancements in electronic structure methods and their diverse applications. Held biennially in Trieste since the 1980s, it has grown into one of the most anticipated and widely attended  events in the international ab initio electronic structure community. Professor Sappati was honored to be one of the invited participants among the 260 attendees at this esteemed workshop.
