Research internship under the Europium Short-Term Outgoing Visits scheme | Faculty of Chemistry at the Gdańsk University of Technology

Between November 2, 2024, and December 15, 2024, Dr Eng. Natalia Maciejewska will undertake a research internship at Mendel University in Brno, in the Laboratory of Molecular Biology at the Faculty of Chemistry and Biochemistry. The internship host will be Dr Miguel Ángel Merlos Rodrigo and the program will be carried out under the Europium Short-Term Outgoing Visits scheme. The primary objective of this internship is to execute the research project entitled "Evaluation of Novel Chemical Compounds Targeting Telomere Dynamics for Anticancer Therapy: An In Vivo Study Using the CAM Assay." During the internship, Dr. Maciejewska aims to gain expertise in advanced techniques associated with the Chick Chorioallantoic Membrane (CAM) assay, a powerful in vivo model for assessing the anticancer efficacy of novel compounds.
