The distinction "Gdańsk - the City of Professionals - improving the quality of vocational education" | Faculty of Chemistry at the Gdańsk University of Technology

On 1 April AmberExpo hosted the Secondary Schools Fair and the Gala of the competition Employer Friendly to Gdańsk Vocational School. They were the finale of the Gdańsk Professional Week, which started on 27 March. The Secondary School Fair is an event organized by the city authorities, which have been supporting the activities of vocational education for years, as it is of great importance for the quality of the labor market.

The idea of the Gdańsk Professional Week is to familiarize young people and parents of primary school students with the offer of professional counseling and the recruitment process in secondary schools.

15 companies were awarded laurels in the Employer Friendly to Gdańsk Vocational School 2023 competition, and 7 employers received awards in the project "Gdańsk -the City of Professionals - improving the quality of vocational education".

The Faculty of Chemistry received a distinction as part of the project "Gdańsk - the City of Professionals - improving the quality of vocational education" for its commitment and special contribution to the implementation of professional internships for secondary school students.

In the project "Gdańsk - the City of Professionals - improving the quality of vocational education", apart from the Faculty of Chemistry, the following companies were also awarded: Przedsiębiorstwo Handlowo Usługowe "MIXT" Lech Kardasiński, BTT Automatyka sp. z o.o., Grupa Ekoinbud sp. z o.o., Biall sp. z o.o., Cargo Lift Wieslawa Gielecka, Dobry Hotel Mieczkowski.
