Prof. Janusz Datta Appointed Chair of the Council of the Łukasiewicz Research Network Institute | Faculty of Chemistry at the Gdańsk University of Technology

As of May 13, 2025, Hubert Cichocki, PhD, President of the Łukasiewicz Centre, appointed Prof. Janusz Datta, PhD, DSc, Eng. —Head of the Department of Polymer Technology at the Faculty of Chemistry, Gdańsk University of Technology—as a member of the Council of the Institute of Polymer Materials, part of the Łukasiewicz Research Network. This marks the third term of the Council, which operates on a four-year mandate.

The Council serves in an advisory and consultative capacity, supporting the Institute’s leadership in strategic, scientific, and organizational matters. The appointment of a Faculty of Chemistry staff member to such a prestigious role reflects high recognition of his scientific achievements and his commitment to fostering collaboration between science and industry.
