Competition of the Polish Academy of Sciences | Faculty of Chemistry at the Gdańsk University of Technology

Dear readers,

The Polish Academy of Science (3rd Department for Exact Sciences and Earth Sciences) has announced a competition for the Faculty award, which will be awarded in the field of ‘astronomy and physics, chemistry, mathematics, geology and mineralogy’ for distinctive and creative scientific achievements. In the field of chemistry, it is the Włodzimierz Kołos prize.

The award will be granted for a specific work or series of works published within the last 4 years; this includes the award year. Any candidate applying for the award cannot be older than 40 years of age as on 1^st January, which is when the award will be granted.

The application should contain the description of candidate's specific scientific achievements for which the award might be granted. If the candidate is not the sole author of the indicated work, their contribution should be specified in detail. Please also describe the submitted work by providing relevant IF, Q and MNiE points.

The deadline for submitting applications is June 7th, 2021 at 15:00.

Candidates for the PAN awards are finally approved by the Discipline Council.
