85th Jubilee of Professor Jan F. Biernat | Faculty of Chemistry at the Gdańsk University of Technology

On October 21^st 2022, the Faculty of Chemistry celebrated the 85^th birthday of Professor Jan F. Biernat. It was an extraordinary meeting attended by the community of the Faculty of Chemistry, along with Gdańsk Tech Emeritus Professors. Representatives of the Faculty of Electronics, Telecommunications and Informatics of Gdańsk Tech as well as other universities and research institutes, that Professor Biernat collaborated with for many years during his scientific carrier, were present: University of Warsaw, Warsaw University of Technology, Adam Mickiewicz University Poznan, Nalecz Institute of Biocybernetics and Biomedical Engineering of Polish Academy of Sciences, Institute of Physical Chemistry of the Polish Academy of Sciences and the Medical University of Gdansk. Friends and collaborators of Professor attended the ceremony, including a large group of the Jubilarian's alumni with His first PhD student – Prof. Maria Bocheńska.
