Scholarship recipient of the first edition of H2 Academy organized by PKN ORLEN
Eng. Denys Suprun, a 2nd-semester master's degree student of Chemical Technology at the Faculty of Chemistry, has qualified to participate in the first edition of the H2 Academy organized by PKN Orlen in cooperation with TOYOTA, PESA, KEZO Research Center of the Polish Academy of Sciences, as well as Warsaw University of Technology, Lodz University of Technology and Gdansk University of Technology. Mr. Suprun entered the competition with a project closely related to his master's thesis, carried out under Dr. Natalia Lukasik’s supervision in the Department of Chemistry and Technology of Functional Materials.
The H2 Academy is an educational program organized by PKN ORLEN, dedicated to students and graduates who are interested in hydrogen technologies who want to develop them professionally.
The Academy gives the opportunity for a group of the thirty most talented students and graduates to participate in a free course consisting of seven lecture panels/workshops in seven companies from the sector actively supporting the development of the hydrogen economy (located in Poland) and universities.
The main objective of the Academy is to train and develop personnel specialized in innovative hydrogen technologies and their practical use in business applications. Additionally, it aims to exchange knowledge between experts and people interested in hydrogen technologies starting their work in the industry. In addition, after completing the Academy, the scholarship holder can complete a paid internship in one of the supporting companies - PKN Orlen, TOYOTA, and PESA.
