The first implementation doctorate at the Faculty of Chemistry defended! | Faculty of Chemistry at the Gdańsk University of Technology

On 30 June, Ms. Kinga Domańska defended her PhD dissertation.

Thesis title: Corrosion monitoring system in water installations of the Baltic Beta mining platform. The aim of the work was to implement a corrosion monitoring system for the installation of sea water injection into the oil deposit on the Baltic Beta mining platform and to select an effective corrosion inhibitor.

The work was carried out under the guidance of Juliusz Orlikowski, PhD, DSc, Eng., professor at Gdańsk Tech in cooperation with Lotos Petrobaltic. Lotos Petrobaltic's assistant supervisor was Sławomir Sochacki, MSc, Eng.

The PhD student obtained a PhD degree in engineering and technical sciences in the scientific discipline of chemical engineering.
