Paulina Parcheta-Szwindowska, PhD, Eng. with the PTKAT award for young scientists | Faculty of Chemistry at the Gdańsk University of Technology

The Board of the Polish Society of Calorimetry and Thermal Analysis named after W. Świętosławski (PTKAT) announced the results of the competition for the award for scientific achievements in the field of calorimetry and thermal analysis for young scientists. The award is granted once every 3 years to one person, and the candidate is selected in a national competition, which is addressed to employees and doctoral students of universities or other research units who are under 35 years of age. The PTKAT Board may not grant the award or grant up to three awards, depending on the substantive assessment of the applications and available funds. This year, after 6 years, the PTKAT Board granted one award.

On 9 September 2024, at the CCTA15 conference in Zakopane, the Polish Society of Calorimetry and Thermal Analysis named after W. Świętosławski Award for scientific achievements in the field of calorimetry and thermal analysis for young scientists was received by Paulina Parcheta-Szwindowska, PhD, Eng.

The Doctor also gave a lecture presenting the results of research that were the basis for the awarded achievements.
