Scholarships and support programs offer for engineering students

A meeting for students of higher years of engineering studies was held in Auditorium 1.4 on 10 October. It was led by the Vice-Dean for Student Affairs, Sebastian Demkowicz, PhD, DSc, Eng., and was also attended by the Dean, Jacek Gębicki, PhD, DSc, Eng., Vice-Dean for Education, Robert Tylingo, PhD, DSc, Eng., and Vice-Dean for Science, Justyna Płotka-Wasylka, PhD, DSc, Eng.

During the event, special guest Anna Klimczyk, MSc. Eng., head of the Student Affairs Office, presented a wide offer of scholarships and support programs available to students of Gdańsk University of Technology, and Bartłomiej Cieślik , MSc. Eng. presented the offer of the Center for Modern Education. The Center supports students and academic staff in the teaching process by offering modern tools and educational programs.

We would like to thank all participants for their active involvement, and we would like to express our special thanks to the Faculty Student Council for their support and presentation of the student government's activities. Thanks to such meetings, we build an academic community and strengthen cooperation at the Faculty of Chemistry of Gdańsk University of Technology.

Also on 10 October, in Auditorium 1.4. Joanna Mytnik, PhD, DSc, Director of the Center for Modern Education, gave a lecture on "EDUxAI: new guidelines for the use of GenAI tools in education at Gdańsk University of Technology". Ms. Joanna Mytnik also presented the wide training offer of the Center for Modern Education in the area of AI and pinpointed the basic challenges related to this topic that academic teachers face.
