Golden Lions 2024 awarded. As many as 3 awards for the Faculty of Chemistry! | Faculty of Chemistry at the Gdańsk University of Technology

During the tenth edition of the student activity plebiscite "Golden Lions", organized by the Student Self-government of Gdańsk University of Technology, active and particularly talented students, scientific clubs and initiatives from our university were appreciated. The award ceremony took place on 28 November at the Academic Club "Kwadratowa", and representatives of the Faculty of Chemistry were also among the winners.

Awards for the Faculty of Chemistry

This year, the achievements of students and initiatives related to the Faculty of Chemistry were particularly appreciated:

• Student Scientist: Edyta Składanek from the Faculty of Chemistry received a statuette for her outstanding scientific achievements and involvement in the development of research projects.
• Student Athlete: Dominika Molenda from the Faculty of Chemistry was honored for her sports achievements that combine passion with representing the university in the sports arena.
• Technikalia associated Event: "Potato Day", organized by the Faculty Student Council, won recognition for promoting the integration of the academic community and a creative approach to organizing events.

As part of the plebiscite, statuettes were awarded in 12 categories, rewarding scientific projects, charity initiatives, cultural events and individual achievements of students from various faculties. The ceremony was attended by representatives of the university authorities, who emphasized the importance of students' involvement in academic life and their contribution to the development of Gdańsk University of Technology.

We are glad that students of our faculty have been noticed and appreciated for their activities, which are an inspiration to others. Congratulations to all the winners and we wish you all further success!
