Students scholarship (DoECaS)

- Students of I or II degree studies in the field of chemistry, physics, materials engineering materials science
- Experience in laboratory works
- Basic knowledge in inorganic and organic chemistry
- English – intermediate level.
- Ability to work in a team, diligence
Project description and key responsibilities:
Tasks for the student in the project "Development of processes for critical raw materials recovery from spent lithium-ion cells" (grant No: UMO-2022/46/E/ST8/00395) will be as follows:
- Experimental work related to chemical and thermal pretreatment of spent lithium-ion cells
- Experimental work related to the recovery of cobalt, nickel and manganese from the active materials
- Writing a report based on the results obtained within the project

The conditions of employment:
- a scholarship of PLN 2,000 per month for 6 months with possibility of extention;

Recruitment
The scholarship commission based on the "REGULATIONS FOR THE AWARD OF NCN SCIENTIFIC SCHOLARSHIPS IN RESEARCH PROJECTS FINANCED FROM THE FUNDS OF THE NATIONAL SCIENCE CENTER" will evaluate the submitted documents and select a laureate.
The results of the competition will be published on the website of the Faculty of Chemistry of the Gdańsk University of Technology (https://chem.pg.edu.pl/) in the "Studenci" tab. The scholarship committee reserves the right to invite selected candidates for an interview or to call chosen candidates to provide additional documents.
